隨著各國禁用白熾燈的時程愈 來愈近，點亮LED燈泡商機，各家廠商卯足勁搶攻每年將近200億顆的商機。白熾燈泡平均使用壽命 (約500到1000小時)較省電燈泡 (約3000到6000小時)短，同樣照度白熾燈泡比省電燈泡耗電5倍以上。因此，先進國家已紛紛擬定禁用白熾燈泡時程，台灣也擬定於2012年禁止高耗 能的白熾燈泡銷售及進口。
