Thermal Design usually has five control variable due to, respectively, LED spacing, the thickness of the dielectric layer, circuit layer thickness, solder thickness and the ambient temperature. LED spacing is usually five controlling factor, the greater impact of the control factor. However, LED spacing due to mixing light and optical uniformity of the optical design requirements and can not be changed arbitrarily. In addition to using LED packaging and LED module design to reduce the junction temperature, LED life and reliability increase.
