U.S. Department of Energy Planning In 2005, the white LED will be available from the current 25 lm / W to 50 lm / W, in 2007, can reach 75 lm / W, 2012 years will reach 150 lm / W (white LED can be one bomb produces 1000 lm, per klm price will be lower than 15 U.S. dollars), and finally in 2020 can reach 200 lm / W, however, the limits of the theory white LED should be 300 ~ 400lm / W, which is why there are still a great room for improvement.
