Modern atomic concept
in 1803 by the British J. Dalton proposed by the 3 main points:
1. All chemical elements can not be separated by not destroying the
composition of the particles, such particles called atoms.
2. The same elements of the nature and quality of the atoms are the
same, different elements of the nature and quality of the atoms are
different.
3. The chemical combination of two different elements of the role of a
certain number of atoms of elements with another element of a certain
number of atoms combine to form compounds in the various elements.
Since the discovery of radioactive elements after the transformation and
the atom can be split, therefore, Dalton atomic indivisible and should
be amended to say, except to say in ordinary chemical reactions, atoms
can not be separated. The discovery of isotopes of the same element has
also changed the nature and weight of the atoms have the same argument,
because the same elements of the quality of the various isotopes are
different. |
